EUROMAP77: development of a EUROMAP77 driver
The OPCUA driver is for communication with OPC UA servers for injection molding machines and is based on the EUROMAP77 specification.
Main features of the driver:
- Communication is spontaneous; changed variables are automatically reported by the server.
- Spontaneous data communication by means of OPC UA Subscriptions
- Spontaneous event communication by means of OPC UA Subscriptions
- Import of event variables with expandable Select Clauses.
- Configurable Where Clauses for the filtering of events.
- Automatic EUROMAP83/EUROMAP77 watchdog mechanism.
- Import with online communication
- Import from UaNodeSet files
- Support of methods
- Reading of historical data in RDA archives
- Support for manufacturer-specific functionality:
- Option for the automatic querying of historical events and the deletion of buffered historical events, for seamless transfer.
- Arrays of alarm objects for an individual variable in JSON format

Import of event notifier
variables
The import of variables now also supports Event notifier variables.
- When reading in the background, Event notifier OPC UA nodes are taken into account.
- In the online import dialog, all Event notifier variables of all OPC UA nodes that provide results are taken into account.
- To avoid mix-ups in the Online Import Dialog and in Engineering Studio, Event notifier variables also have the DisplayName enhancement EventNotifier.
- The import of Event notifier supports both reading from the OPC UA server as well as the reading of the local UaNodeset file(s).
