zenWebClientStarter: Closing the application does not terminate the process
Description
When closing the Smart Client Starter (ZenWebClientStarter.exe ) by clicking the X button or using the Alt+F4
key combination, an attempt is made to close the application. However, the
associated process is not terminated. An empty thread blocks the closing of the
Smart Client Starter process.
If in the zenon6.ini in the section [ServiceGridGateway] the entry Version=LAST is deactivated (commented out by ;),
the closing works.
This behavior has been changed. The Smart Client Starter is now closed correctly by clicking the X button or using the Alt+F4 key combination.
To benefit from this fix:
- Update your zenon Software Platform to
the latest build of zenon 10 or
higher.
