zenon Logic - Import using XMLMERGE of K5B.exe stucks with certain XML

Description

When importing a zenon Logic XML file with XMLMERGE via K5B.exe the import does not finish; the process hangs in an endless loop. When using workarounds, the import seems to finish successfully, but not all elements are imported. But the manual import within the zenon Engineering Studio works without problems.

This behavior has been changed. The import now works successfully.

Tip: To see new data types after an import with XMLMERGE, the project must be reloaded.

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 11 or higher.
