When using the Edit User screen, the password history is ignored for Administrators and authorised Power Users

Description

If administrators or power users used the edit user screen, they could change their own password to a historical password, ignoring the Password History property.

The issue has been addressed with following behaviour:

  • Password History is validated if any user changes their own password.
  • Password History is ignored if an administrator or authorized power user changes the password of another user.

 

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 11 or higher.
