User Administration: User group timeout setting is not logged in CEL by specific procedure

User Administration: User group timeout setting is not logged in CEL by specific procedure

Summary

Changes for automatic logout of user groups were not always completely logged in the CEL. This has been modified.

Description

Starting with zenon 12, the automatic logout for user groups after a certain time of inactivity can be configured in the project properties. This can be managed in the Service Engine via the screen elements "Time for automatic logout" and "Time for automatic logout active". Changes to these properties are logged in the CEL. For a certain sequence of operations for automatic logout, the entries in the CEL were incomplete:

  1. Modify time for automatic logout.
  2. Deactivate automatic logout.
  3. Save group.
  4. Activate automatic logout.
  5. Save group.

In this case enabling of "Time for automatic logout active" was logged in the CEL, but the changed time for "Time for automatic logout" was not.

This behavior has been modified. Every single change of a property for automatic logout is now logged in the CEL.

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 12 or higher.
