Description

When starting the Service Node Interface the Reporting you find error messages in the output Window of the Reporting Studio like “Error during loading paramters oft the report …”. In the Diagnosis Viewer you find cryptic descriptions of the errors 

This happens when:

  • You have lot reports (one error is reported for every lot report)
  • You use the SCADA Service Engine Connector
  • The Service Engine is not accessible (Service Engine is switched off or connector not running)

The reason for the many cryptic error messages is: All available reports are being analyzed. An attempt is made to retrieve information that may not be available at this time. 


Solution:

The Service Node Interface dialog has been optimised:

  • The report parameters are checked for lot/shift filters before the values of the parameters are loaded. This avoids the error message when loading the report paramters for lot reports when the Service Engine Connector is used and the Service Engine is offline.
  • The report parameter update mechanism, which is triggered when a report is configured and a report parameter value is changed, has been optimized for optimal performance.
To benefit from this fix:
  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 10 or higher.
