Under specific circumstances two phase instances may become active after RT restart

Summary

In a batch control recipe if two phase instances of the same phase exist in a parallel, normally without an explicit force, only one phase is active at the same time. The other phase is waiting for the first phase to finish. However after a restart of the runtime, there is no explicit check and the second phase also also becomes active.

Description

In a batch control recipe if two phase instances of the same phase exist in a parallel, normally without an explicit force, only one phase is active at the same time. The other phase is waiting for the first phase to finish. However after a restart of the runtime, there is no explicit check and the second phase also also becomes active.

Solution

An issue has been addressed in batch control where after restart of the runtime the check for parallel execution of a phase did not work properly. Now after a restart the currently active phase resumes and the other parallel phases continue to wait.
