The zenStartupMgr service does not log an error message in the Windows Application Event Log when a process it started could not be terminated.

The zenStartupMgr service does not log an error message in the Windows Application Event Log when a process it started could not be terminated.

Summary

When the zenStartupMgr service is stopped, it terminates all applications it started in the reverse order. If process is no longer running, there is no message in the Windows Event Log on stopping the service that this application could not be stopped.

Such error message is helpful for diagnosis as all applications started by the zenStartupMgr as a service, usually run without a GUI.
