Summary

The AccessSNMP process gateway does not work in zenon 7.10. The Windows SNMP service does not load the accesssmp.dll as an extension agent.

Description

The AccessSNMP process gateway does not work in zenon 7.10. The Windows SNMP service does not load the accesssmp.dll as an extension agent.

Solution

An issue has been addressed in the 7.10 accesssnmp.dll where the Windows SNMP service could not load the dll as an extension agent. Now the Windows SNMP service can load the dll as an extension agent and the AccessSNMP process gateway is working correctly.

Information

As a workaround it is possible to use the AccessSNMP process gateway from version 7.00 instead, with a 7.10 runtime.
