Smart Object: zenon logic Variables getting deactivated

Description

Smart Object Templates contain structure data types for zenon Logic. When changes are made to these templates, all structure elements in all instances of this template are inadvertently deactivated. These structure elements can not be reactivated anymore.

A warning message is displayed in the Engineering Studio output window for each structure element. This reads for example: "The element name: 'Data.Check.Conditions[0].Value' already exists - it is replaced by '<1926> Data.Check.Conditions[0].Value'".

This issue has been fixed. Structure data types for zenon Logic work as expected again in Smart Object Templates.

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 10 or higher.
