SICAM230 Conversion Wizard: Variables cannot be displayed in screen

Description

When converting a SICAM® 230 project into a zenon project with the SICAM® Conversion Wizard, some variables are not displayed in the screen.


Cause:

These variables contain the character #. This character is forbidden for zenon variable names. When creating variables with zenon the use of the # character is blocked. But it was possible to import invalid variable names.


Solution:

Remove the character # from variable names.

zenon has been enhanced to display a warning for variables with an invalid name.

 

To benefit from this warning:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 8.00.
