S7TIA: When at least one datapoint within a structure has an invalid symbolic address, the driver constantly logs error FFF90003 which causes weak systems to overload

Description

If at S7TIA at least one variable within a structured data type has an invalid symbolic address, the driver constantly logs the error FFF90003 (Wrong PLC type). This can lead to overload on systems with weak performance.

This behavior has been changed.

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 8.20 or higher
