Popup frame's "restore button" disappeared when executed "Reload function"

Popup frame's "restore button" disappeared when executed "Reload function"

Summary

Restoring a screen via the appropriately configured buttons does not work as expected after reloading. This has been fixed.

Description

For the frame of a screen, "Title", "Systemmenu" and "Min./Max buttons" are configured for "Border type". The screen is minimized in the Service Engine. After reloading, the button for restoring the screen is no longer displayed. If the screen is minimized again, the restore button is displayed but does not work correctly. In addition, the screen is enlarged but placed incorrectly if the type for "Border type" is modified to "No border" when the window is minimized and then reloaded.

Cause of the error: Minimized windows had a size of 0x0 pixels after reloading.

This error has been fixed. Depending on the version, zenon now behaves differently when a minimized screen is reloaded:

  • Version 10-14: After reloading the minimized screen, its size and position are correct again, but it is not displayed minimized.
  • Version 15: After reloading the minimized screen, its size and position are correct again and it is still displayed minimized. However, it is not minimized if the function for minimizing/restoring the window is deactivated when reloading.

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 10 or higher.
