Summary

OPC2CLI32 - "Switching to spontaneous value" does not remove the previously set "Alternative value" bit. The variable remains in alternative value, until the variable has been unadvised and advised.

Description

OPC2CLI32 - "Switching to spontaneous value" does not remove the previously set "Alternative value" bit. The variable remains in alternative value, until the variable has been unadvised and advised.

Solution

An issue was addressed which caused the variable to remain in alternative value. "Switching to spontaneous value" now removes the previously set "Alternative value".

Information

"Alternative value" can be used to simulate a value in the Runtime. In this state, the variable is completely uncoupled from the process and as such is not sent to the connected hardware. The value is however sent to all modules of zenon and is processed further.
