OPC UA Process Gateway may result in a WERFAULT error on reloading the runtime

When reloading the runtime the OPC UA Process Gateway may produce a WERFAULT error in certain circumstances. The user interface of the OPC UA Process Gateway continues to run, however client connections are disconnected and not able to reconnect.

Description

When reloading the runtime the OPC UA Process Gateway may produce a WERFAULT error in certain circumstances. The user interface of the OPC UA Process Gateway continues to run, however client connections are disconnected and not able to reconnect.

Solution

An issue has been addressed in the OPC UA Process Gateway where under certain timing conditions the shutdown takes too long during reload of the runtime and could cause an error. Now the reload of the runtime is correctly managed and the OPC UA Process Gateway continues to run after the runtime reloaded.
