MSI Interface: Extending Exception Messages

MSI Interface: Extending Exception Messages

The graphical user interface of the configuration dialog for the configuration of exception messages has been revised.

The Exception Message Configuration dialog can now be opened directly when selecting the Exception Message tab. The dialog is opened either via new buttons or via new context menu entries:

  • New(alarm-based)...
  • New(event-based)...

The default settings in the dialog depend on the type (alarm-based or event-based) with which the dialog was opened.

In addition, the following functionality has been implemented:

  • CEL entries can now be sent as Exception Messages via MSI Interface to PAS-X.
  • An equipment group can be used as the Identifier for AML- and CEL-based Exception Messages. The new Equipment model option for linking an equipment group configured in the zenon project has been added to the Exception Message Configuration dialog.
  • AML/CEL Keys can be used as the Deviation number. For this purpose, the Type option in the Exception Message Configuration dialog has been expanded to include the new Entry-key checkbox.

Additionally, the Exception message status variable property has been added to the Configuration dialog, to enable the selection of the status variable.
