MELSECA: enhancements to meet market needs

MELSECA: enhancements to meet market needs

The already existing driver object types Link Relay, Latch Relay and Internal Relay M now support the 16-bit data types INT, UINT and WORD. In addition, these new data types use batch-read and batch-write for the BOOL-based address range to read or write 16 bits with just one request.

MELSECA - Support for link registers and annunciators

The MELSECA driver now supports additional PLC memory areas.

For this purpose, the existing driver object type link register has been extended to include the data types STRING and WSTRING.

The configuration dialog has also been redesigned. The following options in the TCP/IP tab of the driver configuration dialog have been renamed for clarity:

  • Primary IP address
  • Port (as HEX)
  • Secondary IP address
  • Port (as HEX)
