For the internal zenon user administration password length is limited to 20 characters. However, passwords for external logon procedures such as Active Directory, Active Directory LDS or IIoT Services are allowed to be longer than 20 characters. But when logging in via the Login type screen, only 20 characters are allowed for for external logon procedures as well. Longer passwords are truncated. The login is not possible then. However, login via the standard zenon dialog works as expected.
This behavior has been changed. The screen of type Login now accepts passwords longer than 20 characters for external logon procedures such as Active Directory, Active Directory LDS or IIoT Services. For the internal zenon user administration the limit of 20 characters remains.
