In IEC870Slave the event buffering shall be maintained also while connected with a Master

Summary

The IEC 60870 Slave - zenon Process Gateway and straton/Logic I/O driver - shall maintain event buffer while connected with a Master; and not start only when detects the loss of connection. Slave should prevent the loss of data in the period between physical connection loss and detection of it.

After reconnect, it would be better to eventually send to master some events once again, as to risk that master hasn't ever received them.

Description

The IEC 60870 Slave - zenon Process Gateway and straton/Logic I/O driver - shall maintain event buffer while connected with a Master; and not start only when detects the loss of connection. Slave should prevent the loss of data in the period between physical connection loss and detection of it.

After reconnect, it would be better to eventually send to master some events once again, as to risk that master hasn't ever received them.

Solution

Offline buffered values are now kept in event buffer until in -104 the T1 timeout or in -101 - the Master polling time is elapsed. By connection loss the values buffered in this period are prepared to be transferred again in front of the GI by reconnect
