FAQ: Displaying East Asian Characters in zenon Software Platform reports
Chinese, Japanese, Korean (often called CJK fonts) (or other scripts beyond the Latin alphabet) characters use a much larger set of symbols than typical Western alphabets, and not all fonts or systems are equipped to display them by default. If your font or configuration does not support the necessary character set, the result may be blank spaces, question marks, or unreadable symbols.
The font selected in your Engine or Viewer report must include support for the CJK set. Fonts such as Microsoft YaHei, SimSun, Noto Sans CJK or other Unicode-compliant font (UTF-8 or UTF-16) are recommended because they provide extensive coverage for these languages.
Also make sure that the necessary fonts are installed on every system that will display, generate, or print the report. If deploying reports across multiple machines, verify font installation during configuration.
