"Failed to evaluate data types" error message appears under specific circumstances when browsing an OPC UA server using the OPCUA32 client driver in the editor

Summary

When browsing variables in the editor using the OPCUA32 client driver with a specific OPC UA server configuration in the zenon OPC UA server, an error message from the OPC UA server may appear in the editor following the browse of the server data model.

Description

When browsing variables in the editor using the OPCUA32 client driver with a specific OPC UA server configuration in the zenon OPC UA server, an error message from the OPC UA server may appear in the editor following the browse of the server data model.

Solution

An issue has been addressed in the zenon OPC UA server in the process gateway where an invalid datatype was used for variables in the runtime with a REAL datatype. In such a case, the OPCUA32 client driver could produce an error message following the browse of the server. Now the datatypes are handled correctly by the OPC UA server in the process gateway.
