EUROMAP63: improve behavior for empty files
Summary
The EUROMAP63 driver has a high CPU load when a EUROMAP63 server places empty files for event subscriptions. Reduced polling interval solves this issue.
Description
Some machines place empty files for event
subscriptions as EUROMAP63 servers when there are no events to report. The
EUROMAP63 driver then shows high CPU load if these empty files have to be
processed constantly. This can affect communication with other computers using
the same driver.
Solution:
- The polling interval for file changes
has been reduced from 10 ms to 250 ms. This reduces the CPU load considerably.
- To
take advantage of this, update your zenon version to the latest build of 8.10,
8.20, 10 or 11.
