Error message "The data of the Batch module of project '...' were edited with version (7.00 SP0). and cannot be loaded here!" when starting a client / webclient in the version 7.10 with a server running version 7.00

Summary

When starting a client or webclient in version 7.10 with a server runtime running version 7.00, where a license for Batch Control is used, the runtime shows an error message on startup. "The data of the Batch module of project '...' were edited with version (7.00 SP0). and cannot be loaded here!"

The runtime is closed when the error message is acknowledged. In the project itself, the Batch Control module is not used.

Description

When starting a client or webclient in version 7.10 with a server runtime running version 7.00, where a license for Batch Control is used, the runtime shows an error message on startup. "The data of the Batch module of project '...' were edited with version (7.00 SP0). and cannot be loaded here!"

The runtime is closed when the error message is acknowledged. In the project itself, the Batch Control module is not used.

Solution

An issue has been addressed in the compatibility checks for the Batch Control module in the runtime. It is now possible for a 7.10 client to connect to a 7.00 server if there are no batch units in the project, regardless whether a license for Batch Control exists or not.
