SCADA Devolper Tools

SCADA Developer Tools: Updating the index file list from the server failed.

Our experts have looked into the code of the developer tools and were able to find the error message "Scada Developer Tools: Updating the index file list from the server failed.".

This resulted in the following information:
This error message occurs when the Scada Developer Tools try to download help indexes online from the Internet.
These indexes allow the programmer to press "F1" in VisualStudio (while standing with the cursor in the code on a zenon object) and thus be led directly to the correct page of the zenon online help.

==> If you do not use this help feature, you can safely ignore the error message.

The developer tools save these index files in the folder "C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\zenonSearch"
These files are not only queried online but are also stored on the computer when zenon is installed.

If you want to find out the exact cause, I have the following questions/requests/suggestions:
Please see if there is a zsi file per zenon version in the "zenonSearch" path of the affected system... At least the following should be present:
760.zsi, 800.zsi, 810.zsi, 820.zsi, 1000.zsi, 1100.zsi
(If a file is missing, I can send it to you).

Does the computer have internet access?
Can you open the COPA-DATA online help page from there? (https://onlinehelp.copadata.com/)
And if so, can an index file be downloaded manually to the computer? (To do this, enter the following URL in the browser and save the file: "https://onlinehelp.copadata.com/indexfiles/800.zsi")

Do you have admin rights on the system? Can you please check whether you have write authorisation for the zenonSearch folder?
