Distributed Engineering. Alarm Areas linked to an Equipment Model get lost after synchronization.

Summary

At the zenon Editor (x86 & x64) with a multiuser global and standard project, alarm areas in the standard are lost after synchronization if they are linked to a global equipment group.

Description

At the zenon Editor (x86 & x64) with a multiuser global and standard project, alarm areas in the standard are lost after synchronization if they are linked to a global equipment group.

Solution

An issue has been addressed at the multiuser - projects operations for the AML-items. Now, Alarm Areas in a multiuser project work as expected, regardless of order of actions or if the Alarm Areas node is currently opened while they are "Checked In".

Information

Workaround:

Basically,

Create WSB on MU Server

Restore WSB on new PC

Convert to single user (Workspace -> Save As)

Create/Edit Alarm Areas as necessary

Export Alarms via XML

Transfer XML back to MU PC

Import Alarms into MU Project via XML

Then the links to the global equipment model are permanently.
