Defining externally visible variables for a specific zenon Logic project via the "Externally visible for" property in the zenon Editor does not work correctly.

Summary

If a variable has "Externally visible" enabled, entering the name of a specific zenon Logic project in the "Externally visible for" property should only display the variable in the defined Logic project. The variable in this case is available for all zenon Logic projects

Description

If a variable has "Externally visible" enabled, entering the name of a specific zenon Logic project in the "Externally visible for" property should only display the variable in the defined Logic project. The variable in this case is available for all zenon Logic projects

Solution

An issue was resolved which caused the "Externally visible for" property not to be considered.

Information

The "Externally visible for" property allows the user to decide explicitly for which zenon Logic projects the variable should be visible. If you leave the input field empty, the variable is visible for all zenon Logic projects. You can also enter individual zenon Logic projects explicitly. Separate the names of the individual projects with a semicolon (";"). You can also use wildcards. For example P1* stands for all zenon Logic projects which start with P1. (Note: Wildcards are only allowed as prefix or suffix; e.g. *xxx or xxx*.
