An online container is created in the runtime by the OPC UA server that is not unique for its instance

Summary

The OPC UA server in the process gateway dynamically creates an online container in the runtime when an OPC UA client creates a subscription in a session. The name of the subscription contains the subscription ID Multiple OPC UA clients connected to the OPC UA server in different sessions may result in multiple online containers in the runtime with the same name. An enumeration of online containers may no longer be able to distinguish the session or the instance of the OPC UA server to which these online container belong to.

Description

The OPC UA server in the process gateway dynamically creates an online container in the runtime when an OPC UA client creates a subscription in a session. The name of the subscription contains the subscription ID Multiple OPC UA clients connected to the OPC UA server in different sessions may result in multiple online containers in the runtime with the same name. An enumeration of online containers may no longer be able to distinguish the session or the instance of the OPC UA server to which these online container belong to.

Solution

An issue has been addressed in the OPC UA server in the process gateway where the name of the online container is not unique for its instance and client connected. Now the name of the process gateway ini file is included together with the subscription ID. Subscription IDs are not re-used for different OPC UA client sessions.
