Acknowledge ground fault message and short-circuit message without linked variable create unnecessary output windows messages

Summary

"Acknowledge short-circuit message" function causes misleading  warnings in the output window. This has been fixed.

Description

If in an energy project the "Acknowledge short-circuit message" function is used without linking it to a variable, error messages are displayed in the output window when the Service Engine files are generated. These indicate: "Unable to find a variable linked with the function '<function name>'".

This message should not be displayed. The "Acknowledge short-circuit message" function can be used without configuring a variable for it. In this case, all messages are acknowledged during operation.

This behavior has been modified. The misleading message is no longer displayed.

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 12 or higher.
