AccessIEC870SL: Process Gateway IEC60870-5-101 slave (serial) cannot establish communication with the remote master as it uses always link address = 1 regardless the configuration

Description

Process Gateway IEC60870-5-101 slave cannot establish communication serially to remote master in zenon version 10 and later.

Cause: 

The gateway always responds to the link status request of the remote master with link address 01, regardless of its configuration. Therefore, the link request is always answered incorrectly if the correct answer is not 01.

 

This behavior has been modified. The IEC60870-5-101 slave now again responds correctly to the link status request with the correct link address. The communication is established.

 

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 10 or higher.
