A visibility variable or a graphic recipe variable for a Recipegroup Manager recipe variable cannot be selected from sub-projects in the editor and do not work correctly in the runtime

Summary

In a multi-hierarchical project structure, it is not possible in the editor to select variables from other projects when configuring a visibility variable or a graphic recipe variable, for a recipe variable in the Recipegroup Manager.

Description

In a multi-hierarchical project structure, it is not possible in the editor to select variables from other projects when configuring a visibility variable or a graphic recipe variable, for a recipe variable in the Recipegroup Manager.

Solution

The zenon editor and the zenon runtime have been enhanced so that it is now also possible to use variables from other projects in the runtime for the visibility variable or the graphic recipe variable

Information

When using a visibility variable or a graphic recipe variable from other projects, consider the fact that when this project is running as a server on another computer, this variable may not be available. When having a networked multi-hierarchical project with sub projects running on different computers as a runtime server, it is recommended to use variables for visibility variable or graphic recipe variable, that exist locally in the same project as the Recipegroup Manager recipe and the Recipegroup Manager recipe variable.
