A variable of the OPCUA32 OPC UA client driver set to alternate value in the runtime may still get updated with a value from the OPC UA server

Summary

When a variable of the OPCUA32 OPC UA client driver is set to "alternate value", an update of the value in the OPC UA server will result in the OPCUA32 client driver receiving the value and forwarding this value to the runtime, overwriting the currently displayed alternate value.

Description

When a variable of the OPCUA32 OPC UA client driver is set to "alternate value", an update of the value in the OPC UA server will result in the OPCUA32 client driver receiving the value and forwarding this value to the runtime, overwriting the currently displayed alternate value.

Solution

An issue has been addressed in the OPCUA32 driver where the driver incorrectly forwarded a value change to the runtime when the variable was set to alternate value. Now sending the value change to the runtime is correctly suppressed.
