3D Configurator cannot open .STEP files that contain japanese characters in their path

Description

The 3D Configurator cannot open STEP files with Japanese characters in the path. E.g. “C:\新しいフォルダ\foo.step. Nothing is displayed. However, it works with OBJ files.

This issue has been fixed. It is now possible to open a *.step file whose path contains Japanese characters.

To benefit from this fix:

  • Update your zenon Software Platform to the latest build of zenon 8.00 or higher.
