Zenon 6.51 RT, update variable Range

Zenon 6.51 RT, update variable Range

Hi We are doing some unit scaling in 6.51 by editing the RangeMin and RangeMax. It has been working fine in 6.22, but in 6.51 the change in value is not displayed in Zenons "Numerical inputs". The value is scaled correctly, but not shown. It seems like the UI does not detect it change When having the "Propose current value" enabled, the input box shows the correct scaled value. We are changing the values like this:
VBA Code:
obVar.DynProperties("RangeMax") = max obVar.DynProperties("RangeMin") = min obVar.DynProperties("ValueMax") = max obVar.DynProperties("ValueMin") = min
I have tried to force Zenon to re-advice the affected variables, but without success:
VBA Code:
obVar.SetValueWithStatus obVar.value, &H20000000, Now, 0 'OR obVar.SetValueWithStatus obVar.value, &H20000000, DateAdd("d", -1, Now), 0 'OR obVar.SetValueWithStatus obVar.value, &H40000, Now, 0 'OR obVar.SetValueWithStatus obVar.value, &H40000, DateAdd("d", -1, Now), 0
where: &H20000000 : Not updated &H40000 : Invalid The only way that I have been able to make it update its value is if I do:
VBA Code:
obVar.value = obVar.value + 1 obVar.value = obVar.value - 1
But it just seems to hack'ish, and Im certain that I will experience problems because it sends each value to the PLC I have also tried adding the variable to an OnlineContainer, but with no luck How can I make the UI update to the new value?
