I want a Vb . net console program with no interface to read a cmp file for a system and write out all records for a certain issue date month.Suppose we take a existing cmp file i need all records with issue dates as January in a new cmp file.we have to repeat for each month of the year and final output i need is 12 files with each months data.
the format of a an existing cmpfile is as below
01 2760M HAP 11001 11MSA0000000198
01 2760M HAP 11001 7015081
Yellow is the issue date in YYYYMMDD format
Green is teh policy number
please help me with this
