VBA script cannot see processvariables on Terminal server...

Hello out there
I am working on a project where we have a issue in a VBA script on Sicam 230. The script handles process variables, that is selected in the alarm list, and makes us able to inhibit them. It is working well on both redundant servers, but on the terminal server, that is connected as a client, the script can start, but it cannot see the process variables.
does anybody have any input on this ?
