Symbol problem in zenon

Dear Sirs,
I have zenon Supervizor v7.00 SP0 running under Windows 2003 Standard server.
Zenon is running in demo mode.
I am struggling with symbols for two days. I develop my own project which reads data from a RTU (for test purposes) by MODBUS TCP/IP and SNMP. The data reading is fine – no issues here!
My problem is that when I trying to replace used tags in symbol, nothing happens!
To test if I am wrong, I opened zenon v7.0 test project. I went to DEMO_AUTOMOTIVE, Screens and open Conveyor screen.
I drag & drop Skid conveyor from Project Symbol Library to conveyor screen (see “Symbol from Project Symbol Library 01.PNG”). Next I cancel dialog to see the exposed properties of the conveyor symbol (see “Symbol from Project Symbol Library 02.PNG”) – they refer to *[1]*.
Next I access configuration dialog by pressing Preview in Linking rule section. I enter *1* in linking rule source section and 5 in replaced by section. I pressed preview button and dialog appeared telling me that 5 replacements was made (see “Symbol from Project Symbol Library 03.PNG”). I hit OK button.
Next I went to symbol exposed properties – nothing was changed (see “Symbol from Project Symbol Library 04.PNG”).
Is this a bug in zenon or I did something wrong?
Regards,
Yolov
