Hi,
In order to shrink the file size of my Project Log file, which is apparently 74 GB :eek: I tried to create a backup of the database first.
Though the backup of the log file was successfully created but after that it showed on the screen that it is restoring. This confuses me because I let it run for like 3 hours and still no changes.
Is this an expected process that it restores itself after a backup has been created???:confused:
I have tried closing the SQL managment studio express and restarted it back again but this didn't make any difference (it's still restoring).
And the worst part is I don't understand where it is actually restoring it from (may be back from the place where I created the backup :confused:)
Your help would be highly appreciated.
