Sometimes the Voice and Speech Message function doesn'™t work
We use the Devolo modem (Microlink 56k Fun USB – Devolo) as you proposed in this forum to configure the Voice and Speech Message.
At the beginning (I mean, from March 2010), this function works very well. But recently, this function doesn’t work frequently..
Phenomena:
Normally, when this function in ZenOn (6.22 SP1) works well, it will start an icon as a “Traffic light†at the notification area. I can use this little program to supervise the communication behavior of my Devolo modem.
But when this function doesn’t work, the raison I find out is that every time zenon failed to start this little application, non “Traffic light†icon at taskbar.. Therefore, zenon failed to active the modem.
I am nervous about this problem, a simple restart of Run-Time cann’t resolve this problem.. Until now the solution I used is:
1. I stop the Run-Time project.
2. I start the zenon Editor at this PC, and open a little project with a pre-configuration of the Voice and Speech Message function.
3. I click the Message Control icon at the project tree, then I click the + icon of Message Control tree.
4. Therefore, the “Traffic light†icon will be shown at the notification area of my taskbar.
5. I close at once the zenon Editor. The “Traffic light†icon will be closed automatically at the same time. But it seems OK, at less this function is already re-activated.
6. I restart the good Run-Time project. This time, the Voice Message function runs well with the appearance of the “Traffic light†icon.
But my solution can just resolve temporally the problem.. After some days (two or three) with Run-Time always in running, the problem will be re-occurred.
Do you have some idea about this problem? Have you received some reports about it?
