SMTP without POP.

SMTP without POP.

Hello all,

At one of our clients I can't get Zenon 7.60 to send e-mails by SMTP. The client does not have a POP server, only a SMTP server.

Sending e-mails by SMTP with Powershell works fine.

The client gave me the following settings:

SMTP: bla.blabla.nl
Port: 587
SSL: SSL/TSL
Username: something@something.com
Password: #######

With the above information, I can sent SMTP e-mails with Powershell, but Zenon gives errors.

What should zenon6.ini look like with the above information?

Does Zenon need a POP server for the SMTP server to work?

I've tried all sorts of combinations of values in the zenon6.ini, but nothing works.

See attachments for the diagviewer errors. One with the POP settings in zenon6.ini and one without the POP settings in zenon6.ini.

Best regards,

Jacob
