Save CEL/AML data options

Save CEL/AML data options

Dear guys,
please advise what is differecnces in the "Save CEL/AML data" option of the project settings?
I am having project in Zenon 6.51 SP0 and those options are:
- Ringbuffer and historic data
- only ringbuffer
- Default
I faced with the issue that beckhoff 1020 which running Win CE 6.0 with 1GHz CPU becomes very slow after one day of use with the option "Ringbuffer and historic data" activated for 250 alarms and 1000 events.
What right setting shall be considered in this case?
