I have posted a question last week about the manipulation of Variable Identification in Runtime and we came to the conclusion that Variable properties cannot be altered in Runtime. However, we agreed upon using an additional Sting Variable to store some text and it worked pretty good. I turned Remanence ON so that the String Value is kept even at Runtime shutdown/restart.

Now, when I backup the Project Workspace and restore it on another machine, all Remanent variables has been set back to empty. I have read that the Last Known Values of each Internal Variable is stored inside the INTERNVAR.BIN located at the project files and Runtime uses it to pull the LKV of the Variables upon shutdown/restart. My question is, why my values went back to empty when I restored the Workspace ? Does the INTERNVAR.BIN is included in the Project/Workspace backup ?
