Open Log file in runtime

Dear colleagues,
please advise how to open text file from the network path in runtime?
I am concern of using scteen type either HTML or Notepad.
The path is provided via the set of variables
sPath = \server\share\folder\
sName = filename.ext
sNewExt = .log
I need to concatenate sPath and sName and after replace extension to the new one.
Is it possible to do that purelly in Zenon? (I know that it can be easily done in PLC but I am not allwed to modify PLC code)
BTW, I am running Zenon 6.51 under Win CE6.0 and we have no plans to upgrade yet.
