Number of Tag's when using smart objects

Number of Tag's when using smart objects

Is it correct that when I use a smart object template with for instance 50 IEC61850 signals and create a smartobject with this template and link it with the 50 IES850 signals from a specific feeder that i use 100 tag's per feeder? 

Steps taken:
Number of Tag's 861
Import IEC variables from 61850 device.
Number of Tag's 945
Created smart object.
Linked the imported variable to the smart object variables.
Number of Tag's 1022
