MODRTU32 symbolic address

Dear COPA DATA forum members,

To sum up the story, I am using MODRtu32 driver, and what I have seen symbolic address is like in IEC - 61850 (please see attachment).
Can somenone explain me if MODRTU32 uses symblic address for reading variables ststuse nad values,or it all goes through variable name using Modbus standard byte order?

Is there any article/forum post/ documnet where I can see how this communication works?
