is possible to set on the IEC870 - 104 protocol driver to declare unreceived process variables after GI command as invalid? Sure, after few sec./min. 

The driver always waits for the data after GI cmd, but if the RTU doesn't send these data, the combine elements are hidden in the Service Engine.
