Hardware-Bedarf für Projekt mit 10.000 tags?
Hallo,
gibt es eigentlich irgendwo vernünftige Infos, was für Rechner-Hardware man bereithalten sollte, um ein Projekt der Größe x sinnvoll zu betreiben?
Konkret: ein Projekt mit >10.000 tags, derzeit ca. 30 Treibern (verteilt auf 3 IP-Adressbereiche und u.a. mehrere OPC-Server), rund 400 Bildern, webserver mit max. 10 Clients und Mehrplatzfähigkeit beim Editor (zwei Editor-Lizenzen).
Aktuell ist es auf einem 32bit-4-Kerner mit 3.0 GHz installiert, der 4 GB RAM zur Verfügung stellt und mit Windows Server 2003 arbeitet. Die Netzwerkauslastung ist praktisch immer <1%, der Arbeitsspeicher normalerweise bei deutlich <2 GB und die Prozessoren bei einer Gesamtleistung um die 10%. Nur bei Trend-Aufrufen oder gefilterten Anfragen in AML und CEL schnellt die Rechnerleistung auf 100% bei EINEM der vier Kerne (und eine Gesamtleistung von 30-35%), die im DiagViewer aber konsequent mit Warnungen "Rechnerleistung übersteigt Grenzwert von 100%" gemeldet werden und der 100ms-Timer wird für etliche Sekunden (oder auch Minuten, wenn's dumm läuft) außer Gefecht gesetzt.
Was wird hier benötigt, damit das Ding sauber läuft?
