Get IEC870 driver state

Get IEC870 driver state

Dear CopaData developers!

I ask your help in the following problem:
I have a system where the primary server communicates with PLCs via IEC60870-5-104 (IEC870) communication protocol. With the "Driver commands" function group, I have the ability to set this driver to simulation or hardware mode, which is perfect for my application.
My issue is, that I run this function from a VSTA c# module via RtFunction.Start() function, which has no "finished" or "done" callback, or return value, therefore, there is no way to determine if the function has finished properly. Furthermore, I'm unable to find a way, to somehow get the status data from the driver.
So my question is, is it possible to somehow get/read the driver status from anywhere in the system, so I can feedback that information to my VSTA module, so it knows whether the driver is in simulation or hardware mode?
I'm using Version 7.60 SP0 Build56718 64Bit with .NET framework 3.5 SP1

Thanks in advance!
