Equipment Modeling Filter

Equipment Modeling Filter

Hello.
I created an object model with the help of Equipment modeling. I'd like to use this model as as a filter criteria for AML. As far as I know, there is 2 ways of using this kind of filter:
1) with the help of standard dialog window

2) using special format of the screen "Equipment model", where I placed standard template for this type of screen. Then I created new "Screen switch" function ("Open filter"), chose my new screen with the equipment model. Then in an opened dialog I chose screen with an AML as a "screen to be updated". In the screen AML I added a button with the function "Open filter". So that after all these steps I've got my own filter dialog with only one criteria - "Equipment model".

My problem is, in a second variant I didn't find the way how to make a multiple choice of places/devices as it is possible in standard dialog by means of "Add" button from the first variant. It is only possible to select one branch of the tree for filtering.
Does anybody have ideas, how to realize this multiple selection based on second approach?
