Dynamic Limit Text and string variable value

Hello, colleagues!
We have string variable, each change of which should generate message in CEL with text, based on current value of this string variable.
We try to use Dynamic Limit Text to realize this.
We use string-Rema with only state (state-by-default) and checked flag "Threat each change as limit violation".
In Limit Text we wrote
$test;%text
where "text" is name of changed string variable.
As result at each violation of text value we have new message in CEL with text
test>>>
and end part of this text is >>> no difference what exact string value has "text" variable.
What we did wrong?
