Deleting all entries from AML and CEL

Hi Support,
I am using Zenon Energy Edition 6.51. There are two files for the storage of Alarms and Events in the ringbuffer, namely cel.bin and aml.bin. When I delete both the files to remove all the old alarms and events from the ringbuffer, only the events get deleted but the Alarms appear like before. Kindly advise how to remove all the old Alarms that have been recorded by Zenon? :confused:
